As I was doing the research for this week’s list I got impressed by two very interesting facts: the incredibly high volume of articles related to this topic and even more impressive, how inaccurate the vast majority of them are. As a music fan I will never understand by what standard the likes of Beyoncé, Madonna, Lady Gaga, and Donna Summer could ever be considered “rock” artists, but then again most contemporary music media have a different definition of art and music on the whole, let alone rock music.
